Five-year multiple entry tourist visa to visitors

The UAE has granted five-year multiple-entry tourist visas to visitors.

With the visa, tourists are allowed to enter the UAE multiple times on self-sponsorship and stay in the country for 90 days on each visit. Holders can extend the visa for a further 90 days without leaving the country.

The visa allows expatriate families to spend more time in the UAE. The visa program is also critical for businesses that aim to bring employees in and out of the country for meetings, conferences, and other events.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai announced the five-year tourist visa scheme during a cabinet session. The first visas were issued soon after.

The application process for a five-year tourist visa is relatively simple. One can apply online through the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) website or the General Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs (GDRFA) portal.

Applicants who require a visa from within the country can approach authorized typing centers such as Amer247 Immigration Service Centers.
