    Dubai Police recruits a new batch of women to serve

     

    The new batch of women has been recruited to serve in the Dubai Police.

    The first batch of women officers to join the Command and Control Centre, one of the major departments of the force, has completed training.

    Practical training is also part of 24 specialized courses in several divisions, including the Emergency Response Division, Guidance and Control Division, and Duty Officer's Office for receiving communications.

    The female officers Al Lt Meera Muhammad Madani, Lt. Samar Abdul Aziz Jashaw, Lt. Kholoud Ahmed Al Abdullah, and Lt. Bakhita Khalifa Al Ghafli successfully demonstrated their efficiency in completing the course.

    Director of the General Department of Operations, Major General Dr. Muhammad Nasser Al Rasooqi, said that female officers play an important role in ensuring security for all and proactively undertake missions and tasks that were previously performed exclusively by their male counterparts.

    The Force always seeks and utilizes all its potential to invest in young cadres and qualify them with requisite skills.

    Major General Al Rasuqi reiterated Dubai's interest in empowering and increasing the role of women in various police sectors, specializations, and positions.

    "The force is sparing no effort when it comes to increasing the participation of women in policing and ensuring that they develop and demonstrate their potential to serve their communities," he added.

    The four women officers expressed gratitude for joining the Command and Control Center which never ceases to inspire them with new challenges.
