WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS AND ADVANTAGES OF THE GOLDEN VISA FOR THE UAE?

The following are a few advantages of the Golden Visa in the UAE:

• A multiple-entry entrance visa is valid for six months, followed by the issuing of residence permits.
• A 10-year renewable long-term residency visa.
• A self-sponsored visa.
• The right to leave the UAE for as long as they choose without having their visa revoked.
• Regardless of the ages of their husbands and children, sponsoring their family members.
• Unlimited sponsorship of domestic helpers.

WHAT ARE THE ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR UAE'S GOLDEN VISA?

FOR ATHLETES:

• Applicants will require a letter of reference from either the Dubai Sports Council OR the General Authority of Sports in Dubai.
• A copy of the passport being sponsored.

 

FOR CULTURAL AND ARTISTIC CREATIVE SPECIALISTS:

• A letter of reference from the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority is required for applicants.
• A copy of the passport being sponsored.

 

FOR EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS:

Executive directors would need a letter of "NOC" from the business stating that it does not object to the golden residence and stating that the minimum service length for the positions of general manager, executive director, and chairman of the board of directors is at least five years.

• a valid bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• the salary certificate must be at least AED 50,000 per month.
• Contract of employment with the same occupation and pay scale at the wage certificate.
• The most recent six-month bank statement.

 

ENTREPRENEURSHIP 

An entrepreneur who owns an economic project of a technological or futuristic character focused on risk & innovation is granted a Golden Residency Visa for 5 years under this category. You must possess a letter of permission from each of the following:

• According to a UAE auditor, the project's worth is at least 500,000 dirhams.
• The emirate's authorities claim the initiative is of a technological or futuristic character.
• To start the intended activity in the UAE, find an approved business incubator.
• The Dubai Future Foundation would need to write an endorsement letter for the candidate.

 

FOREIGNERS IN RETIRED STATES: 

A retired foreign national may be awarded a Golden Residency Visa under this category for a term of five years without a sponsor, subject to renewal.

Requirement:

The applicant would require a bank letter showing a deposit of at least AED 100,000, AED 15,000 in income, or AED 1,000,000 in real estate ownership.

 

FOR INVESTORS:

Investors in public investments

If you contribute to an investment fund, you can be given a Golden Visa for ten years without a sponsor if you meet the following requirements:

• Submission of a document from a UAE-accredited investment fund confirming the investor's two million AED deposit, or
• Submitting a memorandum of association declaring that the investor's capital is not less than AED two million and a valid commercial or industrial license.
• Submitting a document from the Federal Tax Authority confirming that the investor pays the government at least AED 250,000 (two hundred and fifty thousand) a year.
• 100% ownership of the invested funds; a loan is not acceptable
• Give documentation of his family's and his own health insurance (if any).

 

Investors in real estate

If you possess a property or a group of properties, you may be given a Golden visa without a sponsor for a term of five years that is renewable under the same circumstances.

• supply of a document from the relevant emirate's land department confirming ownership of one or more properties worth at least 2 million dirhams
• purchasing a property using a loan from a specific local bank that has been authorized by the relevant local organization.

 

ENGINEERING AND SCIENCE SPECIALISTS

The applicant who falls within this category is given a 10-year "golden visa" that can be renewed.

Requirements:

• A letter of equivalence for the academic degree from the Ministry of Education, or an attested degree (bachelor's degree or higher), would be required of applicants (for certificates from outside the country).
• The sponsored residency's copy.
• A job agreement in one of the disciplines listed here: (Epidemiology and Viruses – Artificial Intelligence – Big Data – Computer Engineering – Electronics Engineering – Software Engineering – Electrical Engineering – Genetic Engineering – Biotechnology Engineering).

 

FOR INVENTORS

• The Ministry of Economy would need to provide a letter of reference for the applicant.
• a copy of the passport being sponsored.

 

FOR SCIENTISTS

The Rashid Award for Scientific Excellence or an endorsement letter from the "Emirates Scientists Council" stating that the applicant has received the Medal of Scientific Excellence is required of applicants.

 

FOR OUTSTANDING STUDENTS:

Outstanding students who fall into this category are given a Golden Residency Visa for a term of 5 or 10 years, which is automatically renewed provided the same requirements are completed

 For high school graduates:

• An official letter of recommendation from the ministry of education.
• Copy of the sponsored residence, which is exclusively relevant to residents of Dubai.
• A copy of the passport being sponsored.

For university graduates:

• A degree having an attested grade point average of at least a bachelor's.
• For residents of Dubai exclusively, a copy of the sponsored residence
• A copy of the passport being sponsored.

 

FOR DOCTOR

• A copy of the applicant's labor card is required.
• a copy of the MOHRE labor contract.
• The sponsored residency's copy.
